Ellen was a former 2-time Emmy winning TV investigative reporter in Miami and is currently the author of the best-selling books, Eat Vegan on $4 a Day, Paleo Vegan, Kitchen Divided, Vegan Fitness for Mortals, and her latest book “Vegan Sex” . Ellen is a certified personal trainer, running coach and has placed in 139 5K or longer races for her age group since 2006 “just” on plants. She is currently a nationally ranked sprinter: 3rd in her age group in the US 4×100 meters, 5th in the 800 and 7th in the 1500 and 400 meters. and rare for someone with her sprint times, has completed 2 marathons and 12 half marathons.
